PROMOTE YOUR BUSINESS WITH A BANNER!

​

2023 Banner Costs and Options:

​


1. Single fence panel space: £60 per year/fence panel plus cost of banner production. 

​

2.  5/6 panel 'Court Screen' similar to as shown here:

£250 plus cost of banner production for a 39ft x 6.5ft banner.


We have 60 single fence panels available to house the following banner sizes:

​

Small: 4ft x 2ft

Medium: 6ft x 2.25ft

Large: 10ft x 4ft

​

Please note: As aforementioned, 'Court Screens' will use 5/6 fence panels. We have space for 4 of these at our club to ensure these are placed in a prominent position in a high-visibility/footfall area.

​

BANNER SPONSORSHIP AGREEMENT GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

​

+ ALL banners should be made from high-quality, waterproof and tear resistant material and come with enforced eyelets and suitable heavy duty cable ties.

​

+ As a Sponsor you agree to honestly and accurately provide details of your business operations and banner content to strensalltennis@gmail.com

​

+ As a Sponsor, you additionally consent to providing Strensall Tennis Club with a business contact telephone number and contact name in case we should need to contact you about your banner and to discuss your annual renewal. This will be provided to strensalltennis@gmail.com  

​

+ The 'Committee' of Strensall Tennis Club reserve the right to refuse any business promotion they feel does not represent the values and ethos of the club. 

​

+ The 'Sponsor' is the party named in the 'Sponsor Contact Information' and is placing and paying for the advertisement described in the agreement.


+ Strensall Tennis Club is a recreational Community Tennis Club located at Durlston Drive, Strensall, YO32 5AT. This is the exclusive site where the Sponsor's banner will be advertised.


+ Banner Sponsorship is an advertisement adhering to required dimensions listed above and displayed at Strensall Tennis Club. 

​

+ Banners are strictly for business advertising ONLY and will not be displayed if deemed inappropriate. 


+ All businesses using our advertising space will be given access to the club grounds to update their banner as required. 

​

+ It is the responsibility of the advertising business to ensure banners are maintained year round with a suitable amount of fastenings. 

​

+ If your banner falls down and can be reattached with ease, the committee will attempt to re-position your banner before contacting you if this is not possible.

​

+ In the event of your business banner tearing or being irreparably damaged, the committee will temporarily remove your banner and you will be subsequently contacted and asked whether you would like to replace your banner/change your banner to promote another of your products/services or update your message/forgo your banner space (£35 charge once there is an annual contract in place)

​

Duration of Agreement: 


+ Sponsor’s Banner Advertisement will appear on the Website for a full calendar year, commencing on a Start Date to be agreed upon by both the Sponsor and Strensall Tennis Club, and to be confirmed in this Banner Sponsorship Agreement.


+ Sponsor agrees to pay for chosen plan in full prior to the Start Date. This fee is non-refundable, and will not be prorated should the Sponsor decide to discontinue the display of the Banner Advertisement at any time prior to the end of the contract period.

​

Truth in Advertising / Indemnification for Liability: 


+ The Sponsor is solely responsible for any liability arising out of or relating to the Banner Advertisement, and/or any material to which users can link through the Banner Advertisement.


+ The Sponsor represents and warrants that any information found on URLs hyperlinked from the Banner Advertisement will not violate any criminal laws or any rights of any third parties, including, but not limited to, such violations as infringement or misappropriation of any copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, image, or other proprietary or confidential information or property right, false advertising, unfair competition, defamation, invasion of privacy or rights of celebrity, violation of any anti-discrimination law or regulation, or any other right of any person or entity.


+ Sponsor agrees to indemnify Strensall Tennis Club, it's committee members and club members and to hold Strensall Tennis Club, it's committee members club members harmless from any and all liability, loss, cost, damages, claims, or causes of action of any kind, including reasonable legal fees and expenses that may be incurred by Strensall Tennis Club, arising out of or related to Advertiser’s breach of any of the foregoing representations and warranties.

​

Governing Law: 


This Agreement and the resolution of any dispute related to this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the North Yorkshire County Council, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. Failure by Strensall Tennis Club, or its affiliates to insist upon strict enforcement of any provision of this Agreement shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right.

​

Sole Agreement: 


+ This document constitutes the sole agreement between Strensall Tennis Club and the Sponsor regarding the Sponsor's Banner Promotion at Strensall Tennis Club.


+ Any additional promotion not specified in this contract must be authorised by a written change order.


+ All prices specified in this contract will be honored for twelve (12) months after both parties sign this contract.


+ This 'Agreement' may only be modified, or rights under it waived by a written document executed by both.


+ Violation of any of the terms and conditions of this contract may result in the immediate termination of your services with Strensall Tennis Club, at our discretion.

NEW ON SITE AED (AUTOMATIC ELECTRONIC DEFIBRILLATOR)

SWTTC and Strensall Tigers/Tigresses are delighted to announce that we have purchased an on site defibrillator for use by all medically trained coaches/professionals in the event of cardiac arrest.

​

The AED will be clearly situated in the corridor of the clubhouse. 

​

Lets hope we never have to use it though!

SUMMER JUNIOR TENNIS CAMPS REVIEW!

Our junior tennis camps continued in style this Summer, with fantastic numbers attending each day of the week long camp! 


We had upwards of 40 children attending throughout the week!


Thank you to each and every child who came along and to the parents and guardians, grandparents, siblings and child minders who helped with transportation to get the children to camp for us! We couldn't have made it such a success without you!

We hope each and every one of your children had a great time and came away having made new friends and having improved their tennis!

JUNIOR COACHING PROGRAM LAUNCH:

Junior Coaching at the club starting in June..

We are delighted and excited to announce that a full junior coaching program led by ABC-Tennis-UK School Specialist Coach and LTA coach Rob Hodge will be beginning in June this year.


Strensall Tennis Academy in association with ABC-Tennis-UK aims to bring tennis tuition to school children who would like to develop their tennis outside of school hours.

ABC-TENNIS EASTER HOLIDAY CAMPS HAVE NOW LAUNCHED!

A successful week of Tennis Camps at our club!


Head Coach Ben Orton provides his summary of the week below...

Last week, we had a FANTASTIC time at our club running the very first ABC-Tennis Camp in my short time as Head Coach. 


It was so wonderful to see your children coming and having so much fun, making new friends and engaging so brilliantly with all our different activities! We do hope that they enjoyed themselves and had fun on the tennis courts, making use of our fantastic facilities while improving their hand-eye coordination, foot-eye coordination, as well as their agility and balance and their match play along the way and that they have been left wanting more! Well, don't worry...


My team and I will be running more camps in the Summer Holidays!


We plan for these to be of a multi-sports nature, with tennis remaining at the core of the days timetable, but with other sports being incorporated on the adjacent football fields!

RESUMPTION OF OUTDOOR TENNIS ACTIVITY FROM 29 MARCH IN GOVERNMENT ROADMAP FOR EASING OF LOCKDOWN RESTRICTIONS!

OUR CLUB IS REOPENING ITS DOORS!

UPDATE: 

​

TODAY WE RECEIVED FANTASTIC NEWS...!!!

​

The Government has today (22 February) published its roadmap for the gradual and staged easing of lockdown restrictions in England, made possible by the pace of the vaccination programme.  Restrictions will be eased across all areas of England at the same time.

The announcement confirmed that:

  • Outdoor tennis courts will be able to open from 29 March. This will mean recreational tennis will be able to resume, including singles and doubles social play, 1:1 coaching and formally organised activity for groups, including group coaching (maximum group size and court ratios subject to confirmation)

​

WE CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU ALL BACK ON COURT REALLY SOON! THE COURT BOOKING FACILITIES WILL ONCE AGAIN BE MADE AVAILABLE ONCE THE GOVERNMENT OUTLINES THE SPECIFIC RULES IN THE COMING DAYS REGARDING RESUMING PLAY.

AS PER GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES TENNIS HAS BEEN PUT ON HOLD FOR THE 2021 LOCKDOWN.
